Service Description

In the hope of sharing the love of pottery and on a mission to make it more accessible to all, Gypset Studios is opening their doors on Sunday the 12th of November and offering a relaxed workshop where you can make what you want at discounted prices. The studio will be open throughout the day in the hopes that you can all make it along and can enjoy the joy of pottery, whether you want to make one small thing or 4 large things we would love to see you and share the gift that is pottery The pricing structure will go like this.. Want to come and make a few small items like a trinket dish, candle holder or christmas decorations? To make a few small items will be $35 (usually $50) Really want to make yourself a custom mug for your fave cuppa joe? or a medium bowl or plate? Come along and pay $60 for this (usually $80) Have your sights set on something bigger? A vase perhaps or platter? Larger items will be $80 per piece (usually $100-$150) All prices include all clay, glazing and firing and your piece will be made food safe and ready to collect in 4-6 weeks If you aren't sure what you would like to create yet feel free to make a booking for the 'small items' to secure your spot and pay the difference on the day if you end up making something larger Each session will allow for 2 hours of clay play - if you want to make multiple things please make multiple bookings At the heart of Gypset Studio we want to create a community where folks can come and relax, ground themselves by playing with mud and escape the everyday hustle, a place to slow down and connect, with yourselves and with others. The open day will also have a market stand where i will have some of my pottery for sale - (perfect with christmas coming up) so if you don't want to dive in and create yet feel free to pop by and check that out!
